Purpose

This template adds an external link to an article on nutrients at the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University. The institute has about three dozen articles on nutrients, all of which have a corresponding WP page. The goal is to give all such links a uniform appearance.

Example and usage

Suppose you want to add an external link to Niacin. The title of this article is "Niacin" and the object id is vitamins/niacin. The code

* {{pauling|id=vitamins/niacin|title=Niacin|author=Jane Higdon}}

will produce the link
