"The Anthem" is the second single off American pop punk band Good Charlotte's second studio album, The Young and the Hopeless. The song was released in January 2003.

On the Billboard charts, the song was able to peak at #43 on the Hot 100 and #10 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks.[1][2]

In 2004, the song won "Best Rock Video" at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan.

The song has appeared on the soundtracks to the video games Madden NFL 2003, Project Gotham Racing, Elite Beat Agents, and the North American release of Donkey Konga 2.[3][4]
