The Pipettes are an English girl group. They were formed in Brighton by Robert "Monster Bobby" Barry in 2003 at a seaside party. The members were Julia Clarke-Lowes, Rose Elinor Dougall and Rebecca Stephens. The band has had a lot of changes of members. The members are now Gwenno and Ani Saunders. They have released two albums and two EPs. Their single "Pull Shapes" reached number 26 in the UK Singles Chart. Ani Saunders joined the band in 2008. She is also a member of The Lovely Wars.
