The Slits

The Slits were a British punk band. The band was started in 1976. The members were Ari Up, Kate Korus, Suzy Gutsy, and Palmolive. In 1979 the band's first album Cut was released on Island Records in the UK. The band's second album was released in 1980. In 1982 the band broke up. The band got back together in 2005. It broke up again in 2010 when Ari Up died of cancer.
