Tyler Gerald "Ty" Burrell (born August 22, 1967) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Phil Dunphy in the ABC comedy Modern Family. He has won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series twice, in 2011 and 2014, and has been nominated another three times (in 2010, 2012 and 2013) for his role as Phil Dunphy.

Burrell was born on Grants Pass, Oregon on August 22, 1967.[1]
