The University of Colorado at Boulder is a public university in Boulder, Colorado. The university has about 30,196 students. It was founded in 1876.

The athletics teams of the university are called the Buffaloes. They have 14 varsity teams and they compete in the Pacific-12 Conference, which they joined in July 2011.
