The University of Northern Colorado is a public, coeducational university in Greeley, Colorado. The university has about 12,358 students. It was founded in 1889. The current president of the university is Andy Feinstein.

Sports[change | change source]

The men's athletics teams of the university are called the Bears. They have 15 varsity teams, almost all competing in the Big Sky Conference. The exceptions are three sports not sponsored by the Big Sky. Baseball plays in the Summit League, women's swimming & diving in the Western Athletic Conference, and men's wrestling in the Big 12 Conference.
