Please show notability in new articles[change source]
Hello. I noticed that you have created several articles about albums and musical groups. Unfortunately, many of them did not show why the subjects were notable according to Wikipedia's definition of notability, and so they were either deleted or redirected. When you create an article, it needs to say why the subject is notable. The page Wikipedia:Notability (music) explains what makes a music-related topic notable. Please read that page to understand more. When you create more pages, please say why the subjects are notable and include references. Thanks, and feel free to ask if you have any questions about this. --Auntof6 (talk) 22:23, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- Adding to what Auntof6 said, you just submitted a stub article Peachtree Road. It gave no indication of notability. However, it now has source citations showing it is notable (the album managed to go gold). Please look the article over as an example of demonstrating notability. You can't make an article notable if it isn't. Before you submit another article, please look to see if in your sources there is an indication the subject is notable—in this case that the album went gold. Otherwise it may not be accepted here. March 2015[change source]
Welcome to Wikipedia. You might not have done it on purpose, but your recent change removed helpful information from Wikipedia. We ask that you do not remove things from pages, as you did to "Fleetwood Mac", without giving a good reason in the change summary. If it was a mistake, do not worry. The part of the article you removed has been put back. If you want to try things out, please use the sandbox. If you would like to learn how to help Wikipedia, please see the welcome page. Thank you.
