School IP address Welcome to Wikipedia, school user! Please note the following:

This IP address, 141.218.36.59, is registered to WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY, and may be shared by many different people. If this school uses proxy servers, many people at different computers, or even at different schools in an area, can connect to the Internet through this same IP address. Because of this, a message meant for one person may be read by another, often someone who has not done anything wrong, and a block of this IP address will mean that everyone using this address will not be able to change Wikipedia.

If you are making changes from this address and are getting messages that are not for you, you can avoid this by creating your own account. If you cannot do this, it most likely means that doing so has been stopped so that other users cannot make any bad changes. You will then have to make an account at home and log in with it here.

Please think before blocking this IP. If a block is needed, admins should consider a soft block.

Note: If this address is used for vandalism over and over again, making changes without an account may be disabled for up to 1 year at a time, and abuse reports may be sent to the people who run the school in cases of long-term disruption by people with accounts.
School staff, to monitor this IP address for disruptive changes, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

Removal of red links[change source]

Please do not remove red links - such links are still useful, even in red, because the articles may be created in the future. Chenzw  Talk  06:15, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

None, ever? 141.218.36.59 (talk) 06:32, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I said to please not remove red links. I don't see the relevance of your answer. Chenzw  Talk  06:34, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You want me to never ever remove any redlinks regardless of there uselessness error et cetera? 141.218.36.59 (talk) 06:35, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Kindly explain how you would define this "uselessness". Realise that I agreed with some of your changes too. Chenzw  Talk  06:40, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unlinking terms[change source]

Hello, and thanks for the cleanup you've been doing. I noticed that you have been unlinking various terms. Where it's because the term is linked more than once in the article, please don't count any links in infoboxes. If it's because the term is redlinked, please leave the link there even though it's red. You might have noticed that Chenzw and I have reverted some of your changes. You might want to get more familiar with the way we work here before you make many changes. There are quite a few things we do differently from other wikis. Thanks, and feel free to ask any questions you have. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:36, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Where it's because " ? 141.218.36.59 (talk) 06:37, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. "In the places where you're unlinking for the reason that..." --Auntof6 (talk) 07:12, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Who is "we"? 141.218.36.59 (talk) 06:39, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop addressing other editors with this tone. Such an attitude is not appreciated. Chenzw  Talk  06:41, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"We" is Simple English Wikipedia. We have different ways of doing things than you might have seen elsewhere. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:12, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked editor[change source]

I am an admin at the English Wikipedia. This IP has been blocked there for being a en:WP:SOCKPUPPET of an editor blocked for various disruptions, including a literal interpretation of en:WP:REDLINK, removing all links to non-existent articles or linking words which may be articles.
