Rollback

Sorry, but simpleWP does not have non-admin rollback, so right now only admins have rollback, unless non-admins use javascript. Ben updates

Oh, and just to keep you up-to-date on the ben front, ben was fine all last week at school, very cheerful and enthusiatic etc. When I hung out with him yesterday, he was fine aswell, talking about how he is looking forward to being back and he's made a list of articles he wants to edit. Erm. Hi. So Today Ben was fine, he wasn't as cheeful as last week, but it has been quite stressful at school lately, so it's expected. He got a couple of homework questions in Chemistry wrong and was a bit hard on himself - he's been such a perfectionist lately. But he cheered up a bit after band practice (he plays piano, very well) and has been fine. Ben would like to know when would be an appropriate time to propose coming back again? Than-You +

Yes, I'm sorry about that. I realized that I had written it very poorly and improperly, and was going to fix it after I finished rewriting a segment of the main Mao Zedong article. World War I

I am disappointed with this article. This page, at best, is just a collection of short stubs about many of the different events of World War I. Before I added some sources to the first part of the article, this whole article was completely unsourced. It would also seem that, by looking at the English Wikipedia's version of this article, that we are lacking in this article, and that some of the information presented in this article is either incorrect, or is unsourced. Clearly, this is an article that is critical to a Wikipedia, because of how big of a historical event it was, so shouldn't our version of this article be as in-depth and critical as some of the other Wikipedia's versions of this article? I recently thought that this article would be a good GA, but after going in-depth into this article, I have decided that this article would need a lot of work before I believe that it will be able to even be able to pass the GA requirements. I would like to suggest you take a look at this page and help to fix this article up to make it as good of a GA as possible. Thanks for reading this long message. Reorganizing states

looking at the facts:

  • US - 9.8million km2, 50 states
  • Eur - 10.2m km2, 48 countries + a couple wannabe countries (really in Asia, but still somehow get stuck in Europe)

We'll fix the states if you fix your countries. At least we use the same general terminology in each state, you lot use 25 different languages to say the same thing... -- Creol(talk) 18:16, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Making changes

Thank you for your message. But I don't think you have objectively applied yourself to the issue at hand. More importantly, I did not "remove statements merely because you do not like them," but because they go against the bio rules of Wikipedia, and you should make certain these rules supersede your own personal beliefs. Even if the person whom you think is the creator of a web site is the case -- and there is no proof of that -- when you call such a person "anti-Armenian" you are libeling him. If someone believes history is otherwise, particularly if the history in question wrongly presents a people as Nazis and thus invites bigotry, that has nothing to do with hatred or racism against those who are making such charges. You certainly would hate someone who is hiding behind a pseudonym to blacken your own name in the same fashion, so why are you doing it? It is very irresponsible of you, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I have changed the bio page to what it should be, a bio page, and not a page about a web site. Barliner, I've just adjusted the pics again. Would you please go back to your last edit and really look at the effect of trying to squeeze another pic in, without considering the layout. Regardless of the size screen it pushes the images on top of each other in such a way that it forces the text to detach from its heading. This problem happens frequently, but most particularly when text boxes are added and force down all the pics (and text that they are linked to) on the right. New page patrolling

Hello, Barliner. It seems as all of this Wiki admin are quite busy! Because, so many times I was just passing-by in "Special:Newpage" area and I found a lot of pages are not be patrolled, while there's so many administrators. In our local Wikipedia, you can't find any page which are not be patrolled. Most of time I use to pass over. That I shown as I care about any new in our local Wikipedia (some times here). A patrolled new page simply means that an admin has looked at the page and marked it patrolled. Many admins use the "new change"s to check pages and make edits. They have seen the page too, but have not marked it as such.--Bärliner 21:10, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Custom Siggy

Hello Barliner. I linked to your talk page from http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Making_a_signature and followed each of its steps. The last step however is a tad unclear (or perhaps I am not reading it properly) as to whether in the My Settings field for 'new signature' what I put after the forward slash either, "/sig2" or, "Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2" "User:Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2".

I think this is where my problem lies. Either way, my customized signature is not working. It works on my subpage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2) but is not showing up when I put the four tildes and sign my posts. There seems to be two area that I need to update after making a subpage (My preferences: where I have intentionally left the user field empty) and (My settings: where I have input the tag -> {{subst:User:(Skychildandsonofthesun)/(User:Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2)}} ) but it does not seem to work. As mentioned, I think it is to do with what I put after the forward slash. Do you know what I am doing wrong or where I can get someone to help me sort this out.
