Ongamenet is the first ever game channel in the world. It first started with side TV-show in other channel for 6 hours a day in July 2000. After 6 months, this opened a own cable channel that 's on air for 24 hours. This channel has taken its own course on opening a starcraft league and Other many leagues for many online games & CD-games. And ongamenet took a charge of proteam for starcraft and established as an 'ongamenet sparkis' in 24th june, 2006.

Ongamenet is not an just cable channel. It has affected korea's many sides such as economy, job selection, and leisure etc.

It created a new job that plays computer games for their work. It could be called a innovation. This cable channel has changed people's stardard of values and made a new way for games.
