RfD nomination of Subsidy[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Subsidy, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2014/Subsidy and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Quick deletion of Subsidy[change source]

The page you wrote, Subsidy, has been selected for quick deletion for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the specific reasons. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. Rus793 (talk) 16:09, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

October 2014[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently made a new article or made changes to one, for example "Subsidy", by adding things copied from a book, magazine, newspaper or another website without the permission of the copyright holder. Many sources, including websites found on the Internet, are copyrighted. I'm afraid Wikipedia cannot accept any things copied from these sources as it can get Wikipedia into serious legal trouble. The article or changes have been or will soon be deleted. Next time, look up sources to find out information for articles and explain it in your own words, and don't copy sentences or images from them. Thank you. Rus793 (talk) 16:35, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you'd like to submit an article on the subject of subsidy, because it is a dictionary definition (dicdef) it would need more information than a typical dictionary entry. You cannot copy information from a copyrighted source and the article needs to be fair and balanced. But, you can copy the article from another wikipedia into your sandbox. Then simplify and wikify it to Simple English Wikipedia standards. Copying an article from another wiki is legal if you satisfy the copyright issue of attribution. This article will explain how to do it: Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia. If you have any questions please ask them at Simple talk. Someone will be happy to help you.
