August 2017[change source]

Hello! Thank you for creating Category:Nazis by manner of death. However, we normally need at least three pages in a category before it is created. Because categories are a way to group together similar articles, there is no need to create a new category for just one or two articles. If you think there might be more pages to add to the new category, please add them now. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 10:12, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Phrases[change source]

We have a category 'phrases' for famous or common sayings. I'm thinking this could be added to the main pages to which you redirected the phrases. Macdonald-ross (talk) 06:51, 4 November 2018 (UTC) @Macdonald-ross: That might be a good idea; I'll think about it. - Bossanoven (talk) 17:23, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciations[change source]

I have reverted your additions of pronunciations to several articles. Per our WP:MOS, pronunciations are to be provided with IPA style. Only (talk) 00:38, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Complexity[change source]

Remember when writing articles that we are the Simple English Wikipedia. Many of the terms you are using in your edits with manslaughter and murder are too complex. You are also using a lot of longer sentences. See Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages for some advice.

Also remember that you need to provide sources for facts. See Wikipedia:Citing_sources if you need help doing that. Only (talk) 01:57, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Finley[change source]

The Michael Finley article you created has many issues, including what I said above. I have moved it to User:Bossanoven/Michael Finley so that you can work on it in your own space and not in the mainspace. There are instances of complex words like "apt" and "illustrious." It's also without sources. Please fix it in your user space before it is moved back.

You're also doing the same in other NBA player articles. Please add sources when you add facts to articles. Only (talk) 03:47, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen F. Austin[change source]

I've now down the same at User:Bossanoven/Stephen F. Austin. The article also has complexity issues and also lacks sources. Only (talk) 12:20, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Category proposed for deletion[change source]

Greetings, Boss. Today you added the Category:Slaveholders to some two dozen pages. I find this interesting information. However, there's another point to consider: this category was Recommended for Deletion several days ago (19 December). It would be helpful for you to express an opinion on the discussion there (click on bolded link, above) - and soon, before it closes. -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 11:41, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[change source]

As I mentioned with your NBA player work, you need to provide sources. You're now doing the same at Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith. Please make sure your future edits include sources, and also don't include opinions like "arguably." Only (talk) 23:56, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are copying articles from the English Wikipedia with no simplification and no attribution, such as with Ronald Gene Simmons. Please stop. Vermont (talk) 11:09, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted the above page as well as Rudolf Brandt and Victor Licata, tagged The Roots, and undid your edits at Sergei Rachmaninoff. Your recent edits are either copied directly from the English Wikipedia or are overly complex to the point of making the article unreadable. Vermont (talk) 11:19, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked indefinitely[change source]

I have blocked you indefinitely per our WP:ONESTRIKE rule. You are not able to follow the standards of Simple English Wikipedia as displayed y the several threads above about your copy and pasting, your complex edits, and your unsourced edits. I also note that you've started to make unnecessary redirects, part of the reason you'd been blocked on English Wikipedia. Your most recent ones, for example, are the "Timothy McWeghe" because, in your edit summary, "a searcher might think he's German." That's such an implausible stretch. As on the English Wikipedia, blocks can be appealed using {{unblock|your reason here}}. Only (talk) 13:09, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators said no to this unblock request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not unblock the user without a good reason. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I'm sorry about this. I can see now that I have been a little over the top. Could I please return to editing given that I do not lapse into this recurring pattern?

Decline reason:

Long-term abuse. Don't see any reason to believe that wouldn't continue if unblocked. -- DJSasso (talk) 15:12, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of The Baseline Move (Julius Erving)[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of The Baseline Move (Julius Erving), an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2019/The Baseline Move (Julius Erving) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Only (talk) 17:13, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
