Welcome to the Wiki!

Hello NotGiven, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! It's good to have more users around. You'll find that we are a great, friendly bunch and you should know us all within about a week.

I noticed that you created the article Travelcard and the redirect London underground. Are you interested in London Transport then? Or Transport in general? Up till now i've pretty much been the only one doing Transport related things, it would be nice to have a hand!

If you need anything, just holler.

Thanks,

Goblin 21:05, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Goblin, thanks for the welcome! Yes I did create those pages, I do have a bit of an interest in transport; buses, trains and planes etc. If there is anything I can help with, just let me know :) NotGiven 17:31, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! I'm currently working on the Lea Valley Lines in London if you're interested - though I have an ongoing project at getting Crich Tramway Village to VGA status, again if you are intersted :). It's nice to have you aboard! Goblin 18:06, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi NotGiven. You're doing a great job around here, but I just wanted to ask if you really thought this article deserved a {{qd}} tag. If it was entirely up to me, I would have added a {{stub}} template to the page instead, assuming there's a similar article on en.wiki. Just a thought. Otherwise, keep up the good work. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:54, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello The Rambling Man, I added the {{qd}} tag as it gave very little information, only a list of names, and it was difficult to understand who the people were. Thanks for the kind words though! :) NotGiven 09:59, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello there, I think we are better off putting this through a regular deletion process. The article at EnWP is over 40k in size, and has decent information. We need to start somewhere, no? --Eptalon (talk) 10:21, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Eptalon, thats fair enough, it looked as if the creator wasn't going to expand it any further, and also my reasons on the RFD page, so I tagged it for QD. Not to worry if I am overruled :) NotGiven 10:24, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Guess Who?

This reminds me of the game Guess Who?! Very cryptic! Are you Steve? Or Gerry? Albert? XD. Take care, Goblin 10:24, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I loved that game! Do you wear a hat? Do you have red hair? Do you have a big nose? LOL. It does look a bit like that I suppose, I'll change it from bullet points into a sentence later! :) NotGiven 11:55, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Me too ;). So.. do you wear a hat? Or have red hair? Or a big nose? XD. I wasn't saying change it, I like it that way ;). Cheers, Goblin 16:08, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA

Grats EhJJ. :) NotGiven 15:32, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Answer questions, much?

On this page, could you please answer the two questions? Thanks, Razorflame 13:07, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will do. They didn't really apply as my account is quite new, but if it helps. :) NotGiven 15:25, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, When trying to help give someone advice to help them, it is very helpful to know as much about said person as you can :) Therefore, yes, I do believe them to be helpful :) Thanks again, Razorflame 15:27, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, I have answered the questions. If there is anything else you want to know don't hesitate to ask. :) NotGiven 15:31, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you have been reviewed. Thank you for your editor review submission. — RyanCross (talk) 05:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great thanks! :-) NotGiven 08:16, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've taken your comments into consideration and I have started a sandbox to work on the WW2 article to try to get it to GA or VGA. Big job! NotGiven 10:03, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you want some help, just shout! I've written one VGA, and i'm about to start on my second. I also owe you for Travelcard ;). Goblin 10:08, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Of course! Any help would be appreciated. I've started it in my sandbox if there is anything you want to add, please do! :) Thanks Goblin. NotGiven 10:12, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okie dokie! I'll drop by later nd see if I can add anything, or give it a review etc. Regards, Goblin 10:21, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Great to hear! I've written a single VGA, which is baseball uniform. Maybe you can look at it for guidance on how to write a VGA. Or you can look through the articles at WP:GA and WP:VGA. Good luck! — RyanCross (talk) 13:27, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Heya, could you possibly contact me off wiki? Or do you have IRC/MSN? I'd like to talk through your article with you. Regards, Goblin 16:30, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. You now have my MSN address so I will contact you there, possibly tonight. I'm feeling a little down right now as a member of my family (my aunt) passed away, so sometimes I cba doing anything. I'll try to remember though :) NotGiven 10:21, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. I'm "bluegoblin". I'll be on tonight at around 8UTC (don't know what timezone you are in ;)) or else we can catch up another time. Regards, Goblin 10:24, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm also in GMT(UTC), I will hopefully see you then :) NotGiven 10:25, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
