There's plenty to do here. For example, there are a lot of articles that don't exist yet, which you can bring over from the English Wikipedia and simplify. References and Abigail Breslin[change source]

Thanks very much for adding references to articles! I noticed that the ones you added to Abigail Breslin don't seem to support the statements they're attached to. The third one goes to a page that appears to link to the page that was intended, but the first and second ones don't seem to have any helpful info at all. (I can't check that third one myself right now because I have trouble downloading PDFs to my tablet.) It would be great if you could fix at least the third one so that it's valid. Thanks.

By the way, when adding references to an article that didn't have them before, please add a reference section, something like this:

==References==

{{reflist}}

If there is no reference section like that, the references just go to the bottom of the article, which isn't necessarily where we want them, and there is no header.

Yes, I saw that when I was looking at them. They've probably been on the enwiki article for a while. Links go dead, URLs change. Probably no one noticed over there -- it's not something that's routinely re-checked. Leave note on talk pages[change source]

When you correctly revert vandalism, please leave an appropriate note on the vandal's talk page. (WP:User talk page warnings) Otherwise you are just leaving work for others. Thank you. Macdonald-ross (talk) 11:47, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Or you could look at it is saving someone the work of identifying and reverting the vandalism, leaving only the warning to deal with - kind of the glass half full view ;-). In the case you are referring to if Twinkle worked for me then I would have warned them. I was, however, busy at work and didn't have time to go and find the right warning templates being unfamiliar with those in use at simplewiki. As an aside, I sometimes deliberately don't issue warnings for IP vandals if their editing implies it is "one off" vandalism. For example, if the vandalism occurred several hours ago then they are unlikely to be back and a warning serves only to potentially upset the next user of the IP if it is dynamic or shared. Anyway, point noted, thanks - I will try and be more comprehensive in issuing warnings if I revert. Thanks. QuiteUnusual 14:36, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
