March 2015[change source]

Please do not remove content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to "Human", without giving a good reason in the change summary. This is vandalism. If you want to practice changing Wikipedia, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 23:35, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In a recent change to Wikipedia to the page "Movie", you changed one or more words from one national type of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, please do not do that, even if you do not normally use the type of English the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours.

For subjects related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States, use American English. If it is a topic about another country or an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

Other guidelines on how Wikipedia articles should be written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any questions about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit "Simple talk". Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 03:15, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Boy group[change source]

The page you wrote, Boy group, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. • Your recent edit on human violated one of our notices which said "The choice of image has been discussed at length. Please don't change it without first obtaining consensus." Please don't do that again. Major changes to important pages often need discussion. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:52, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's easier to leave a message on a user's talk page, as opposed to leaving it in the change summary. Plus, they're more likely to see it, and they can reply easily. As for the history, can't help you there since I don't quite know what happened. I could merge (combine) the history, but I suspect it was deleted for a reason. All the best :) --George (Talk · Contribs · CentralAuth · Log) 19:05, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

May 2015[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to Wikipedia. However, some of your changes, like those to "Human", did not seem to be helpful and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try out changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

If you still want information about the page history, please leave a message on WP:AN. It is never appropriate to leave that kind of message in an article. Auntof6 (talk) 02:25, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Attractiveness[change source]

The redirect to wiktionary is just not an acceptable choice, Wikipedia is not a dictionary. If an article is determined to be a dicdef we either redirect it to another article or delete it. We try to use the BOLD, revert, discuss cycle here. It is a method of reaching consensus and avoiding deadlocks in discussion. We were at a point that, rather than revert two other editors you would want to open a discussion on the talk page. Simple English Wikipedia is a community that tries to reach a consensus whenever possible. But, in this case you did have an objection to the redirect so, per your request, it was nominated for RfD. You are welcome join in the discussion and give an opinion; see the discussion link on the page or you can click here: Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2015/Attractiveness. See Wikipedia:Welcome for links to get you started. If you have any questions, you can ask an editor or post your question to Wikipedia:Simple talk. Also if you want to familiarize yourself with the RfD process see Wikipedia:Requests for deletion#Discussions. The RfD is open for seven days.
