Vichy is a commune in the department of Allier in central France.[1]

Vichy has lots of Spas and resorts. This site was inhabited before the Roman conquest of Gaul.[2]
In 1861, Napoleon III visited Vichy several times.[3]
During World War II, it was the capital city of Vichy France.[4]
