Wienerwald is a chain of franchise restaurants. The name means Vienna Woods. They are mainly in Germany and Austria. They specialize in chicken-based products. It was founded in 1955. It went bankrupt several times. Today the two chains in Austria and Germany are independent of each other. The company operates in Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States and Egypt.
