Citing sources of information that is put into articles is an important part of Wikipedia. This means that you should tell where the information (facts) come from. This helps to make sure the facts are right and can be verified (looked at) by the readers.

If someone cannot verify information that is in an article, they might remove the information.

On the article page, you should list where the facts come from in sections called "References" and "See also".
