On subject specific barnstars[change source]

I think we should concentrate on the General Barnstars first, as we have neither the amount of contributors or the amounts of articles required for more subject specific barnstars.--TBC 03:40, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Car Barnstar[change source]

I suggest that we should introduce the Car Barnstar. It's for people who make excellent contributions to car-related articles. Tharnton345 17:53, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So create it. :) Any barnstars can be created in the userspace, but remember they should be used sparingly for good work. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 17:55, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There has been a revolution of new kind of barnstars on enwiki, which have passed as Barnstars 2.0 Can we introduce it here? --Extra 999 (Contact me + contribs) 09:41, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To the extent that the barnstar images are on Commons, the 2.0 images can be used here. Thanks, Racepacket (talk) 02:24, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Struck by the unusually felicitous writing style of one contributor, I thought to award a barnstar. Alas, I didn't find a category that fit. The original barnstar rewards "hard work". There are others for meticulous documentation, exemplary behavior, etc, but none that overtly refer to quality of expression. Before I go off and invent another, I invite opinion on the matter--and design ideas. Mdmi (talk) 14:55, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
