Pictures[change source]

One way to make something easier to understand is to use pictures. There are far too few pictures in simple english wikipedia. Let's all try to add some to the articles. --Hatman92 03:04, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I would help with this but I have to spend time to figure out how to upload images and the like. Sorry. If someone wants to teach me that would be great though! - APT41790 22:41, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback flag[change source]

Currently the wiki does not have the rollback user group. Adding this usergroup to the wiki would allow users in the group to quickly revert vandalism and other forms of non-productive edits. This feature is currently available only to administrators. Please comment on this proposal below, if consensus is gained, I will make a request on bugzilla. For those who do not know what this is, please take the time to read this page on the English Wikipedia. Thanks! Mww113 (talk) 19:53, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Already endorsed by the community here and a bug request has been filed here. :) Thanks, jacke (talk) 19:55, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
XD. Darn it, when I was typing this I was thinking that it might have already been proposed. I typed "rollback" into the search bar and what do you know, it didn't show up. Next time I will dig a little deeper before I do something like this ;) *Walks off embarrassed and feeling a bit sheepish* Mww113 (talk) 20:27, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deadendpages is dead[change source]

Special:DeadendPages hasn't been updated since 19:01, 22 October 2009. Can anyone set it up to update again? Robin Kerrison (talk) 16:59, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Huh,Special:LonelyPages has been updated thought. wiooiw (talk) 15:46, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It probably isn't being updated because those pages are pretty CPU-intensive to produce. I'm taking an interest in this project since I think it could be an interesting source of material for linguistics research, and would be willing to start creating updated lists of dead-end pages, among other things. I'll try to get to this sometime soon, if there's interest. Since I can't edit the special page, where would be an alternate place to put the list? --Lewis (talk) 07:17, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move and changes[change source]

Revert me if needed, but I moved to what I think is a better title. Also, I want to place a better mission statement of what we do, and I need somewhere to link Attribution. Best, Jon@talk:~$ 15:35, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What's with the Screwed Up New Wikipedia Window?[change source]

What's with the Screwed Up New Wikipedia Window? Why? The changed perspective is unnecessary, disorienting and discombobulated. Who supervises the changes to Wikipedia? It is like being part of the Wild West of the Internet... Stevenmitchell (talk) 07:07, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a program to check when I use words outside of basic English[change source]

I want to make some articles but I am afraid they might be more complicated than intended. Is there a tool to help with this? Immanuelle (talk) 16:36, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
