Youth in Revolt is a 2009 black/teen/sex comedy movie that was produced by David Permut, Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein and was directed by Miguel Arteta. Youth in Revolt was released on January 8, 2010 in North America and debuted at the Deauville American Film Festival in September of 2009. The movie received positive reviews with a 69% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 63 out of 100 from Metacritic. It is based on the novel by C.D. Payne.
