Zamzama is in Karachi, Pakistan. It is the most renowned marketplace in Karachi and probably in the whole country. It is situated in a long lane which has a lot of shops and restaurants. It is a huge shopping arcade where a wide variety of goods can be had.
The term is not to be confused with Zam Zama the famous old Bhangi Top (cannon) which is mounted outside the Lahore Museum, in Lahore, Punjab (Pakistan)-- which is best known the world over because of its mention in the opening lines of the Kim (book) by Rudyard Kipling (published 1901).
