On June 1, 2022, 45-year old Michael Louis shot several people at the Natalie Building, part of Saint Francis Hospital, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.[1][2]

He killed four people, three of whom were hospital staff, and injured no more than ten.[3][4] Louis then committed suicide.[5]

Louis had surgery at the hospital a few days before the shooting and targeted his surgeon because of him not helping with Louis's back pain.[6]

The shooting happened eight days after the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas.[7]
