An umpire is someone who makes sure all of the rules are followed. Umpires are used mainly in sports like Baseball, tennis, and cricket.

The Umpire officiate the game. Their responsibilities include:

  • beginning and ending the game
  • enforcing the rules of the game and the grounds
  • making judgment calls on plays
  • meeting out discipline
