Água Branca is a Brazilian municipality situated in the state of Alagoas.[1]
Historic center
[change | change source]The historic center of the city includes churches, houses, the Baron of Água Branca's house, Nossa Senhora do Rosário Square, Matriz Square, and Fernandes Lima Square. This area is one of the main attractions. It is not only beautiful but also a great piece of art, with Baroque and Colonial styles.
Municipal law number 447/71, dated April 18, 2001, lists the historic center and nearby areas, including its historical and ecological sites. This law is recorded with the Financial Department of the Água Branca City Government.
