The 1000 metres event at the 1926 Women's World Games was the second time the 1000 metres was held at Women's World Games. The event took place in Gothenburg at the Slottsskogsvallen during the last day of the Games on 29 August 1926.[1] At the 1930 Women's World Games the 1000 metres was replaced by the 800 metres event.
British Edith Trickey won the event in a time of 11.8 seconds, ahead of the Swedish Inga Gentzel and French Louise Bellon.[2]
