The 1961 European Cup final was the final match of the 1960–61 European Cup. It was played on 31 May 1961 at the Wankdorf Stadium in Bern, Switzerland. In the final, Portuguese side Benfica beat Spanish side Barcelona 3–2 to win their first European Cup
