The 1966–67 European Cup was the 12th season of the European Cup. The tournament was won by Celtic, who beat Inter Milan 2–1 in the final at the Estádio Nacional in Lisbon, on 25 May 1967.[1] This made Celtic the first British team, and the only Scottish team (as of 2025), to win the tournament.
This was the first time a team from the Soviet Union played in the European Cup.
