The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 was held in England and Wales.[1] The tournament was the league tournament in the group stage. It was a knockout after the group matches. The top four teams from the round-robin group qualified for the semi finals.[2]
The tournament lasted from 30 May to 14 July with a lot of ups and downs for every team but eventually it was the England cricket team that became the champions by defeating New Zealand in the Finals.[3]
