2021 Armenian coup d'état attempt

The 2021 Armenian coup d'état attempt is an ongoing military coup attempt in Armenia by the Armed Forces of Armenia led by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan against the Armenian Government led by prime minister Nikol Pashinyan.

On 25 February 2021, Armenian Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan said in a statement signed by 40 top officers that Pashinyan and the government calling on the government to resign.[1]
