The 2021 FIFA World Championship was the first FIFA World Championship, a quadrennial international men's football tournament organised by FIFA. It was held in Qatar, from 14 to 30 December 2021, as a prelude to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However the tournament was postponed and rescheduled at least twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the tournament was rescheduled to 10 to 26 February 2022.

The following teams qualified for the tournament.

Apart from all eight FIFA national teams which were eligible to enter, FIFA announced that the tournament would instead be played with 10 teams, with the two guest teams being South Korea and Japan from the AFC.
