2022 abortion rights protests in the United States

There were a series of protests in the United States in 2022. At that time, the supreme court was pondering, whether abortion should be a right in the United States. That case was known as Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. So, people demonstrated that women in the United States should have a right to abortion. Later that year, the supreme court decided, and overruled Roe v. Wade, which gave women a right to decide for themselves, independent on what state they lived in. The decision meant that there no longer was a law at the federal level, and that each state could decide on its own.

So before the decision, people demonstrated to keep their rights to decide, and after the decision (on June 24, 20222) people manifested because they did not like the decision.
