The 2024–25 HMPV outbreak is an ongoing disease outbreak that began in northern parts of China on 16 December 2024.[1] The HMPV cases spreading rapidly and was rise among the children in the ages of 14 according to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, there some respiratory illness percent hospitalizations in China, COVID-19, rhinovirus or adenovirus.[2]
On 6 January 2025, India, Malaysia and Hong Kong had reported cases of HMPV.
