2024 Faisal Halim acid attack

On 5 May 2024, Malaysian football player Faisal Halim was attacked with acid at a mall in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.[1] Faisal Halim got burns on his neck, shoulder, hands, and chest.[2] He had 4 surgeries later at a private hospital.[3]

On 22 June 2024, Faisal Halim, recovering from an acid attack, got a surprise visit from former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad at his home in Shah Alam. Faisal and his family were very grateful for Mahathir's visit and concern.[4]
