A terrorist mass shooting that happened on 14 December 2025 at Archer Park beside Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. This antisemitic attack took place during a Hanukkah celebration hosted by the Chabad of Bondi.[4]

Sixteen innocent people were killed, including a child. One of the two perpetrators was shot dead, with the second shooter in custody. Police said the alleged gunmen were father and son.[5] Forty-two people were injured and taken to the hospital, including at least two police officers.[6][7]

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said it was an attack on Jewish people during the first day of Hanukkah.[8]

It is the deadliest mass shooting in Australia since the Port Arthur massacre in 1996, and the deadliest terror incident in Australian history.[9][10]
