On the early morning of February 10, 2025, a bus fell of a bridge into the Las Vacas River in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The accident killed at least 56 people and injured 9 others more.[1][2]
President Bernardo Arevalo declared three days of national mourning and sent the Guatemalan army along with the disaster agency to help with the response efforts.[3][4]
