The Resistance Front (TRF), linked to the Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility. India blamed Pakistan for supporting terrorism. Moreover, in a TV interview with Sky News reporter Yalda Hakim, Pakistani defence minister Khwaja Asif openly admitted to supporting and financing terrorism.[42]
