A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge is a 1985 American slasher movie[1] directed by Jack Sholder.

It is the second installment in the A Nightmare on Elm Street movie series. The screenplay was written by David Chaskin.

It stars Mark Patton, Kim Myers, Robert Rusler and Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger.

The movie is about Jesse Walsh, a teenager who, after moving into the home of Nancy Thompson, begins to have recurring nightmares of Freddy Krueger who is out to possess him in order to kill in the real world.

It is the sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and is followed by A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987). The movie made $30 million at the North American box office.
