A Time for Choosing (also called The Speech) was a speech made by Ronald Reagan in 1964 in Los Angeles. It was given during the campaign for the 1964 United States presidential election. He gave the speech on behalf of Republican candidate Barry Goldwater.[1] Soon afterward, Reagan was asked to run for Governor of California.
