Abdel Qawi Khalifa is an Egyptian engineer and professor. He has degrees in civil engineering and petroleum engineering from universities in Egypt, Canada, and the United States.[1] He has worked as a consultant for the Egyptian government and owned his own engineering office.[2] He was also chairman of a government water company and governor of Cairo. In 2012, he became the minister of water and wastewater utilities.[3] He left that position in 2013.[4] He is back again to share the KCE company from 2013 until now.[5]
