Abdul Samad Isyaku Rabiu CON (was born 4 August 1960) is a Nigerian business magnet and philanthropist.[2] He is the current chairman of the Nigerian Bank of Industry (BOI).[3][4] As of July 7, 2020, Forbes estimated Abdul Samad's has a net worth of $3.2 billion. In January 2023, Abdul Samad Rabiu becomes the 4th richest man in Africa.[1].

Rabiu attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.[5]

Rabiu began his career by establishing BUA International Limited in 1988 for main aim of commodity trading(local domestic production).[5]

Philanthropy[change | change source]

Rabiu uses the BUA Foundation for his philanthropic activities, he constructed 7,000-square-meter paediatric ward at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and the construction of the Centre for Islamic Studies at Bayero University Kano.[6]
