Adambakkam

Adambakkam is a neighbourhood (locality) present in the Chennai metropolitan city, Tamil Nadu. This area is a thickly populated area. This is situated near the St. Thomas Mount Railway Station.

Before October 2011, a part of Adambakkam was under Chennai Corporation and the other part under Alandur municipality.But after that was joined totally with Chennai Corporation.[1] The Adambakkam is having its new railway station under construction.

This area has many temples like famous Pazhandi Amman Temple.
