"Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" is a song written and recorded by British singer-songwriter Phil Collins. It was first released on March 26, 1984. The song appears on the soundtrack for the movie of the same name.[1] The song reached number one in Norway and on the US Billboard Hot 100. It reached the top five in the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, and New Zealand.[2][3]

The song has become popular and covered by many artists, including American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey, who included a cover on her 1999 album, Rainbow. She later released a new version of the song in 2000 featuring Irish boy band Westlife. This version reached number one in the UK.
