AirPort and AirPort Extreme are local area wireless networking products that are made by the company Apple Inc.[1]

Both the AirPort and the AirPort Extreme can both mean the protocol, the expansion card or the base station.

In Japan, AirPort is called the AirMacAirMac[2] because the name AirPort was taken by I-O DATA Archived 2017-06-07 at the Wayback Machine.
