Alopias palatasi or also know "Giant Thresher shark" (now Trigonotodus palatasi) is an extinct species of shark of Alopias genus, that lived in Early Miocene to Middle Miocene, he was originaly classified in Alopecias genus.[1] He is compared on the Great White shark, he measured 6-6.6 metres (20–22 ft) in maximum size and in average 4.5 metres (11–16 ft).[2][3]
