Alpha Fornacis

Alpha Fornacis designated α Fornacis, Alpha For, α For is a binary star[1] system on the southern constellation of Fornax. It is the brightest star in the constellation and only one brighter star than of magnitude 4.0. Based on parallax measurements collected during the Hipparcos mission, it is about 46 light years away from the Sun.

The Alpha Fornacis star system has two components, they are designated Alpha Fornacis A, (officially named Dalim)[2] and Alpha Fornacis B.
