The American Football Conference (AFC) is one of the two conferences of the National Football League (NFL), the other being the National Football Conference (NFC). Every year, the winner of the AFC Championship Game receives the Lamar Hunt Trophy and gets to play against the winner of the NFC Championship Game in the Super Bowl. As of 2025, the New England Patriots hold the record for the most AFC Championship titles with 11 wins. The most recent champion is the Kansas City Chiefs.
