Américo Ferreira Amorim (21 July 1934 – 13 July 2017) was a Portuguese heir and businessman. He was ranked by Forbes as the 385th richest person in the world in January 2015.[1] His wealth was at $4.8 billion (July 2017)[1] He was known for having a 50% interest in Corticeira Amorim. He was born in Mozelos, Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.

Amorim died on 13 July 2017 at his home in Grijo, Portugal after a short-illness, aged 82.[2]
