André Claro Amaral Ventura (pt; born 15 January 1983) is a Portuguese far-right politician, former sports pundit and trainee priest.[1] He is the founder of the right-wing populist political party Chega.[2][3] He has been the Leader of the Opposition since 2025. Ventura is a candidate for President of Portugal in the 2026 presidential election.[4]
